The marriage between Zulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini and his first wife Queen Ntokozo Mayisela-Zulu has allegedly been strained to higher lengths since she moved out from the Khangelamankengane Royal Palace in KwaNongoma in KwaZulu-Natal in October 2022, ZiMoja reported.
ZULU QUEEN NTOKOZO’S MARRIAGE CRUMBLES?
Shortly after the coronation of King Misuzulu kaZwelithini last year, Queen Ntokozo allegedly moved out due to having trust issues. The King and Queen were said to have had a traditional wedding ceremony in 2021 in Newcastle. It’s rumoured that the Zulu Queen had reached her limits with her husband for leaving her alone at the palace.

A mole speaking to the publication said the Queen was spotted in Umhlanga with the prince recently and nobody would be able to ever guess that they were royals as they weren’t escorted by any bodyguards which was uncommon in the royal family.
“Queen Mayisela decided to go back to her old life after she realised that she meant nothing to the King. The King went as far as stripping her off the bodyguards as she had her own bodyguards that looked after her and their child,” the mole said.
“Recently I met her in Umhlanga with the king’s child and there were no bodyguards and they were just like other normal people. This is the first time that the wife of a king can walk in public with their young child without bodyguards. It’s sad,” the mole added.

MORE ABOUT KING MISUZULU AND NTOKOZO KAMAYISELA
Earlier this year, Queen KaMayisela was interviewed on Sunday World and reportedly said she hasn’t seen peace in her marriage since she married the King. She denied that any of the rumours against her and her “troubled” marriage were true and reportedly suspects that someone is maliciously trying to destroy her.
“I am at my house at Pongola. I am at my home and I have never left. I have seen everything that has been written about me and I am shocked about my name being dragged,” she was quoted as saying.

She was said to have declined to comment when asked about the allegations that the King was involved in a romantic relationship with gender-based-violence (GBV) and children’s rights activist, Sihle Sibisi. According to Kaya FM, an audio recording previously trended after it was leaked where Sibisi alleged that the Zulu King had threatened to kill her.
