WHAT HAPPENED TO LIQUIDEEP?
The Liquideep duo comprised Thabo Shokgolo, who doubled as a producer and DJ. On the other hand, Jonathan Hamilton was a composer and singer.
The two co-founded the group in 2007 and dropped several hits before going separately in 2014. Liquideep dropped their record-setting debut album, Oscillations, in 2009.
In 2010 they released their smash hit Fairytale, and four years down the line, they announced their fallout. However, little is known about the reasons behind the duo’s fallout. The group is best known for its smash hits which include:
- BBM
- Fairytale
- Alone
- Rise Again
- Something About You
In the backdrop of their fallout, the two reportedly pursued solo careers.

JONATHAN ‘ZIYON’ HAMILTON
In the backdrop of their fallout Jonathan, ‘Ziyon’ Hamilton went solo. In 2018 he dropped an EP titled Clear Skies, which won him an award at the SA Dance Music Awards. He won the best male artist.
THABO SHOKGOLO
Unlike Ziyon, Thabo ‘Ryzor’ Shokgolo went awol in the backdrop of their fallout, and nothing was ever heard about him.
