Former Sundowns star shares huge prediction

A former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder is expecting something massive next season, and the reason is Rhulani Mokwena.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS EXTEND RHULANI MOKWENA’S CONTRACT

Following the club’s decision to hand the 36-year-old Mokwena a new four-year deal, Bennet Mnguni believes the ultimate reward, CAF Champions League glory, is just a few months away.

“This is a wise move to keep Rulani because he’s been good for the club. The players love him, and there’s that strong bond between him and them, so how would you break that?” Mnguni asked via Sowetan LIVE.

” There was really no need for the club to start afresh because Rulani has laid a very solid foundation.

“I’d stake my life on it, Sundowns will win the Champions League in the new season, and that’d be Rulani’s way to appreciate this new contract.

“There’s no one I can think of, who’s capable of winning the Champions League with Sundowns, than Rulani,” the former midfield maestro added.
