A former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper coach has found a new club in Europe almost three years after leaving the PSL giants.

Jyri Nieminen is the new Feyenoord goalkeeper coach, and he joins them from New York Red Bulls in the US, the club confirmed in a statement.

Nieminen, who was born in Finland, will now get to work in Eredivisie where he will try and gain as much experience as possible.

The 35-year-old has been around the blocks for years with different clubs across the world, including the national teams.

Here at home, Nieminen joined Pirates in July 2019 to work with Micho Sredojevic but the Serb left soon afterwards and he worked with Rhulani Mokwena for 14 games.
