FIVE BOMBSHELLS FORM THE ‘REAL HOUSEWIVES VAN DIE WYNLANDE’
1. AMY KLEINHANS ON ‘FOREIGNER’ HUSBAND
On the first episode of the series, Amy Kleinhans-Curd spoke about marrying her “foreigner” husband – New Zealand businessman Leighton Curd. She quoted a conversation between herself and Nelson Mandela.
“I’ve been married to Leighton Curd for 28 years now. He is a New Zealander. When he asked me to marry him, Nelson Mandela said ‘why are you marrying a foreigner?’. After that he called me and told me ‘I’ve worked it out’,” she said.
“He said ‘you know that saying where you’re actually you keep your friends close but you keep your enemies even closer? I know your strategy! That’s the truth” she joked.
2. ANITA LLOYD’S ‘MAMMON’ COMMENTS
Insensitive? Anita set tongues wagging when she made “mammon” comments after saying that she would jump off a building if she didn’t have money.
“We all serve Mammon. We are crazy about him, the money god. If I didn’t have money… I will jump off a building. It’s actually unimaginable,” she said.

3. ANITA LLOYD CHASES THE HOUSEWIVES FROM HER HOME
The reality star Invited the housewives of the Wynlande over to her home – which she previously revealed is as large as a rugby field.
However, Anita was visibly irritated by Karen Schwendtke asking questions during the poker game and not taking the game seriously.
Karen also kept interrupting the dealer which upset Anita. Michelle van Zyl on the other hand became “childlike” according to Candice Bester and was also not paying attention
Anita eventually had enough and asked the ladies to leave.
“Okay, and now you can all go home,” she said.
4. AMY KLEINHANS-CURD ON BEING ARRESTED
While the ladies were on vacation in Mauritius, they decided to play a game of “never have I ever”.
So, when the “never have I ever been in jail” statement came up, both Amy Kleinhans-Curd and Michelle van Zyl had to drink! Amy revealed that she was in jail over “stealing a lipstick” from a pharmacy. However, she noted that she was set up.
5. MICHELLE VAN ZYL ON BEING ARRESTED
Also while in Mauritius, Michelle van Zyl revealed that she was in jail over assault. The ladies were surprised to hear that the assault was on a patient. However, the doctor explained what happened.
“The patient was drunk and touched my boobs… then I punched him, on camera. He was extremely drunk and while I was administering stitches, they began caressing me… getting touchy,” she explained.
