Africa’s Time is one of two songs performed with Ladysmith Black Mambazo on CHANGING WORLD. (Jeremy met the group during his time on The Voice SA in 2016.)
The album has been described as harkening back to Paul Simon’s iconic ‘Graceland’, with a mix of New York sophistication, African rhythms and Jeremy’s signature sound. The album was recorded in New York at The Clubhouse (the same studio where The Lumineers and Shawn Mendes recorded their latest albums)!
It features Grammy-winning drummer Will Calhoun of Living Color fame (who has also toured with The Rolling Stones, Peter Gabriel and Lauren Hill to name a few), and David Sancious (keyboard player for Sting and Bruce Springsteen), with horn arrangements by the legendary Tom ‘Bones’ Malone.
