Award-winning South African flutist and composer Wouter Kellerman has produced an amazing flute cover version of Ariana Grande’s chart-topping song, ‘7 Rings’… a play on the classic tune ‘Favourite Things’ from Oscar-winning movie, ‘The Sound Of Music’.
Kellerman said on YouTube: “‘Favourite Things’ is about finding joy in small moments and simple objects, and was written by the iconic songwriting duo Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein II in 1959 – then in 2019 Ariana Grande turned the song into a Billboard chart-topping anthem!
“In respect of Rogers’ and Hammerstein’s legacy, Grande also signed away 90% of her ‘7 Rings’ royalties!”
Kellerman’s cover features percussive fluting and the Contrabass Flute, as well as a mesmerising touch of Latin-American and Hip Hop Dance.
