The video calls for people to donate to OUTA (Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance).

OUTA is a non-profit interest body that was set up in March 2012 to challenge SANRAL’s decision to implement e-Tolling of the recently upgraded freeway network in Gauteng.

According to OUTA’s website, their challenge is on the basis that the eToll decision was ” irrational, unreasonable and illegal. We realize the need to pay for the road upgrade, but to be subject to the payment of Billions of Rands toward an inefficient toll collection process is unacceptable. Of serious concern was the sheer lack of meaningful public engagement by SANRAL, to E-Toll Gauteng’s freeways, which is required by law.”

The group depends on public funding to cover its administration and legal expenses.
