The Bulgarian Lions Have Been Freed! VIDEO

The two lions brought to South Africa after being rescued from a Bulgarian zoo have landed! They have also been released into their new home in the Eastern Cape.

The lions Jora and Black, seven-year-old brothers, were rescued by the Born Free Foundation, among other conservation groups, after spending their lives in captivity touring Eastern Europe with a zoo and kept in cramped circumstance (in a cage 2.5 metres square), and have been set free into the Shamwari Game Reserve, it was reported yesterday.

Well done, Shamwari, for adding the two brothers to the 16 other previously captive big cats set free on the reserve land.
