SuzelleDIY’s latest video couldn’t come at a better time – she shared all her top tips on enjoying Amsterdam, just as Air France KLM announced they will now operate year-round daily flights between Amsterdam and Cape Town, starting in May 2016.
The latest video from South Africa’s popular DIY queen is a little different from her normal household and how-to-make-a-braai-pie type of recipe tips. This time Suzelle’s in The Netherlands pointing out the “cyclists, steps, trams and cheeses”.
Her top tips including cycling, getting a map (because all the canals look the same), visiting the Van Gogh museum (which does not feature Vincent’s classic ‘Starry Starry Night’ paining)…and visiting Anne Frank’s house (although Suzelle herself had to make do with the book ‘Anne Frank’s Diary’ to read on the plane trip home because the queue was too long).
As far as the new daily flights, Wesgro said in a statement that at the moment about 92% of all available seats on the Amsterdam to Cape Town route are filled showing a definite demand. Wesgro CEO, Tim Harris said: “Cape Town is a very popular tourism destination for Dutch travellers…” and after Suzelle’s video perhaps Amsterdam will become an even more popular tourism destination for Cape Town travellers!
