Many South Africans have voiced their support and gratitude to former Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan, and former Deputy Finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas, who were both fired last night by President Jacob Zuma… in the middle of the night, along with other cabinet ministers. There were hundreds more – calling the men “exemplary”, saying “thank you” and wishing that it was their President who was gone, and not them.

Addressing a crowd of supporters today, Mcebisi Jonas said: “A nation organised is a nation that will succeed.”
