Congratulations to South Africa’s Jordy Smith for claiming victory at the Vans World Cup at Sunset Beach in Hawaii.
This is a first for the professional surfer from Durban. (Watch the highlights below).
The Vans World Cup of Surfing is one of the events that makes up the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, a prestigious surfing competition that takes place annually on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The other two events are the Hawaiian Pro (won by John John Florence from Hawaii) and the Pipe Masters which starts on 08 December.
