South Africa Summed Up in One Beautiful Poem

We love this beautiful poem describing South Africa. It was spotted in a little biltong shop, at the Horizon Shopping Centre in Roodepoort, by SAPeople follower, Annemarie Anderson. “This is South Africa… word for word,” she says.

South Africa

Winters with sunshine, Summer with rains
Red wine, roaring fires
Wildebeest, zebra, hyena on the plains

11 languages, 9 provinces,
World heritage sites, small towns,
Bushveld sunsets and big city lights.

We live for rugby, boerewors, biltong and braais
Our vuvuzela, Nelson Mandela

Our nation, our people
Our gees, and our Rand

We love our South Africa
Our Home and Our Land
