A new music video is trending, featuring the words of EFF leader Julius Malema with the term he uses to refer to South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma – ‘uBaba ka Duduzane’ (father of Duduzane).
Malema says he calls Zuma this because ‘President’ means ‘father of the nation’, and Zuma has proved that he puts his family before the nation… and should therefore only be called father of his son, Duduzane.
The Gqom track – uBaba ka Duduzane – was created by Wits medical student, Tboy Daflame.
Gqom is a style of house music developed in Durban and Eastern Cape townships… and now heard at clubs as far away as London.
