South Africa’s (and the world’s) favourite hot peri-peri chicken outlet – Nando’s – has done it again with a timely advert that makes fun of the politics of the day.

On Thursday evening, Nando’s posted the ad below: “Ordered to go? We’ve got choices you won’t come under fire for.” The popular restaurant chain added a simple hashtag as its caption: #BrianMolefe

The ad refers to Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown’s announcement yesterday that she has directed the Eskom Board to rescind the reappointment of Molefe. Molefe was only recently reappointed after resigning, retiring or taking unpaid leave a couple of months ago (nobody’s quite sure what it was!).
