Former Miss World, Rolene Strauss, who recently married her longtime partner D’Niel… will soon have a new title – ‘Mom’. The beauty queen revealed the happy news that she’s pregnant in an exclusive interview with Huisgenoot / You.

‘I can’t stop touching my boepie!’ she told the South African magazine. This will be the couples’ first baby.

On Twitter, Rolene tweeted the news to her 56,000 followers, saying “I have been so excited to share this special news with all of you…” She hashtagged #TheMiracleOfLife.

According to You, whilst the newlyweds are delighted, the pregnancy has not been smooth sailing. The South African beauty queen has also had to make important decisions about whether to relocate from Bloemfontein to Stellenbosch where D’Niel works, and what to do about her medical studies.
