Madiba echoed a reality

Nelson Mandela was never a prophet of doom. He predicted the future of South Africa… writes Godfrey Sigwela.
Even when he was still in jail, he knew and had a hope that South Africa would be free one day.
Forgiveness, peace and a free democratic society were included in his vision.
But on the other hand, he had a concern about what could go wrong in this democratic society. As a result he left us with a dozen quotable quotes.
In one of his most popular quotes, Madiba sounded like a prophet advising the rainbow nation about the importance of staying together and united.
He warned the rainbow nation about the “oppression of one by another” and being the skunk of the world. In that quote Nelson Mandela’s inspirational eyes were looking at the future.
He was able to see the coming mayhem of corruption and the state capture.
He also cited the suffering of women and children under the hands of brutal men.
He used his inspiring voice and said “never, never and never again shall it be that this beautiful land will again experience the oppression of one by another and suffer the indignity of being the skunk of the world.”
In this quote one may look at the highest level of unemployment. Also look at the number of unemployed graduates. Exactly, these are some of the examples Madiba was concerned about.
