Speaking at Joubert Park today to commemorate Africa Day, Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) Commander in Chief, Julius Malema, said this world was meant to be ruled by women.
Speaking against women and child abuse – of which several cases have recently rocked South Africa – Malema said: “Women are the most peaceful, understanding people. If it was for me – this world was supposed to be ruled by women… because women don’t fight easily… They don’t use power.”
He said that married men know in an argument that “once she opens her mouth, she’s going to paralyse you… she’s going to give you the facts”, but that still they will try to argue and say they don’t want to listen. “But when you are alone, you know that she is right!”
He said women believe in the “power of persuasion”… and then said, sombrely: “Why do you kill such people?”
Addressing the problem in South Africa of some men believing their girlfriends and wives are their “possessions”, he said: “It doesn’t matter whether you bought them food, whether you bought them expensive bags… you chose to do those things. She never put a gun on your head and forced you to buy those things.”
