The brief to architects SAOTA from clients for their new Cape Town house was to create a home that made full use of the expansive 360-degree mountain and sea views. And did it ever!
The spectacular house measures almost 1,000 square metres and lies on the back side of Lion’s Head overlooking Bantry Bay and Camps Bay. The challenges to the architects were the steep property and the fact that it bordered a national park that couldn’t be compromised.
SAOTA is a firm of architectural designers and technologists led by Stefan Antoni, Philip Olmesdahl, Greg Truen, Phillippe Fouché and Mark Bullivant. They have worked on residential projects and hotels, among other projects, around the world.
