Rugby legend Francois Pienaar was part of the crowd that gathered in Cape Town on Friday for protests to ask the ANC to recall Jacob Zuma as President of South Africa.
Speaking to ‘Wannabe Vlogger’ Adam Spires, Pienaar – the man who led the Springboks to World Cup glory in 1995, with Nelson Mandela cheering him on – said his main reason for joining the march is that “Mr Mandela would be terribly sad to see what has happened in our country over the last number of years.
“It’s definitely not the legacy that he wanted to leave for the ANC and for the country.”
