Video of Cool Biker Dog from Bloem Goes Viral

They say every dog has its day… and in South Africa that certainly seems true! Check out the video below, that’s gone viral, of a very cute Yorkshire terrier at the robots (traffic lights) in the Western Cape.

Izette Soine uploaded the video just over a week ago showing Bailey. She had seen him – and his owner, Bloemfontein salesman Lucky Esterhuizen – a few times in Knysna before video-ing them in George. Izette said she thought they were on a road trip.

Lucky confirmed to local media that he was on holiday when Izette shot the footage. He said riding the bike together is like second nature for Bailey and him. Lucky has fitted a cooler box behind his seat for Bailey to sit, stand or sleep in.

Another well-known bike-loving dog is Jack (seen below) who has become a bit of a legend amongst the Harley Davidson biking community in Cape Town.

Local Lee Peacock, who took the photograph, says: “He’s been riding with his humans Alex Handel and Mandy Reynolds for years now.”
