The locations in the videos include Natures Valley/Crags, Jeffrey’s Bay, Coffee Bay, Hole in the Wall, Port St Johns, Cape Town, Gansbaai, Tsitsikamma, Bloukraans Bridge (Bungy) Oribi Gorge, Blyde River, St Lucia, Sodwana Bay, Kosi Bay, Kruger and Hole in the Wall.
Eco Adrenalin, which was founded by Lloyd Koppel and his girlfriend Berna, offers a 30-day photographic adventure of South Africa, giving photographers an opportunity to enhance their portfolios. The tour starts in Cape Town and travels up the east coast to Kosi Bay, through Swaziland and into the Kruger, before ending in Johannesburg. The first tour will kick off in September.
“We did the tour ourselves in March and April, meeting with all the operators we will be working with, and shooting videos and photos for our website and social media sites,” says Lloyd.
The result can be seen in the videos below which feature the company’s outdoor nature-based activities (hence the name Eco Adrenalin) like Great White Shark Cage Diving, hiking and biking, river rafting, zip lines, caving and wildlife safaris.
“Our focus is on providing photographic opportunities to recent international graduates within Photography/Digital Film studies,” says Lloyd. “What makes us unique is that the tour is an adventure tour, with loads of adrenalin pumping activities specifically for recent grads, not high-end photographers looking for a 5-star safari to shoot wildlife. The tour includes cultural experience and of course dramatic landscapes and seascapes.”
Lloyd and Berna can’t wait to show off South Africa to their clients. “I love South Africa simply because of her people, her wildlife and her dramatic natural beauty. Proudly South African!!!” says Lloyd.
