Candice Swanepoel Keeps SA Roots with Safari-Themed Baby Shower

It’s quite clear to see that South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel is eight-months pregnant! Candice, who is engaged to Brazilian Hermann Nicoli, uploaded a photo to Instagram a couple of days ago… showing her beautiful – and very large – bare belly.

This will be the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s first baby. And it looks like she’s going to ensure he (yes, it’s a boy) remains connected to his South African roots – she held a safari-themed baby shower complete with giraffe, elephant and lion soft toys and cakes.

The 27-year-old South African, who now lives in New York, also posted a photo of herself lying on the arm of a ginormous buddha statue, and light-heartedly wrote: “My mood all day everyday. #ohhhmmm #8monthspregnant.”

And as the mom-to-be waits expectantly, she’s been feeling nostalgic about her own childhood growing up in Mooi River, and has posted a cute photo of herself and her older brother on Instagram too. (See below.)
