After winning Gold in the 200m Breastroke in World Cup record-breaking time yesterday (2:22.35), South Africa’s?? Tatjana Schoenmaker has today – Saturday 3 August -won her second Gold medal in the 100m Breaststroke at the FINA Swimming World Cup in Tokyo, Japan.
The 22-year-old South African swimmer finished in the top spot in a time of 1:06.54.
Last year Schoenmaker also won two Gold medals at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, in Australia… where she broke famous South African swimmer Penny Heyns’ 100m Breastroke record which had stood since 1999.
Schoenmaker will be competing in the 50m Breastroke tomorrow on the last day of the World Cup.
