Thousands sing for the Boks with GoodLuck – WATCH
Goosebumps!!! SA and the Springboks received a whole lot of love from GoodLuck and their 8,000-strong crowd…
South Africa and the Springboks received a whole lot of love last night in Vietnam when SA band GoodLuck posted this video of them singing to the Springboks along with 8,000 people in the crowd at one of their concerts.
GoodLuck posted the video below and this amazing message that will resonate with many South Africans at home and abroad:
“Goosebumps! 8000 people at our concert singing for the Boks! It’s hard to describe but for South Africans, rugby is not just about sport… it’s about so much more. I think it’s because for one moment, we put aside all our differences and unite as a people, as a team and we remember how powerful and beautiful we are.
“Where politics, religion and money often divide us… Sport, Music and Art unite us and so we need it. We crave it. Because deep down at the core of our humanity, all we want to experience is connection and to feel love. I think that the Springboks have been the most beautiful example of that and they have fought for South Africa with every ounce of energy they have.
“Thank you Siya Kolisi and your Springboks team. We are so grateful for your carrying an entire nation on your shoulders. We are so proud of what you have achieved and we support you and are behind you to the end! Gooooooo BOKKE!!! we will be watching from Hanoi all across the world with a bunch of proud South Africans.”
GoodLuck will be watching the rugby between 2-4am Vietnam time tonight, and next week they’ll be heading to Ireland and the UK to continue their tour.
