A Message from a South African Local… for All South Africans Abroad:
From Lisa Marcelle:”Tomorrow is Freedom Day and the 23rd anniversary of our democracy and our freedom.
“Sadly, our very democracy and freedom is being threatened by a corrupt President and a corrupt and incompetent government.
“So instead of celebrating our freedom on Freedom Day tomorrow, civil society will be uniting across our nation making our voices heard in unison.
“We will once again, be taking to the streets, to call for the removal of Zuma and to end corruption in our government.
“What will you do tomorrow to make your voice heard and to ensure our democracy and freedom is protected?
“We as South Africans, can no longer be complacent and be spectators while our beautiful country is raped and pillaged…
“Those outside our borders, you play a crucial role in our cause.
“Just as people outside our borders helped with the abolition of apartheid, we again need your help to rid our country of the cANCerous tumor that is Jacob Zuma.
“We need you to spread our message. We need you to help us protect and salvage Nelson Mandela’s dream and vision for our beautiful country.
“Those outside of South Africa, make your voice heard and show your support by posting a photo of yourself with a placard with your message.
“Those unable to participate in nation wide protests tomorrow, please do the same.
“We need to continue with pressure and expose Zuma and his corrupt ANC before our country reaches the point of no return
“We cannot stand back and do nothing.
“Please share and make our voices heard.”
