Expat’s message of hope: South Africans are built to last!
Kevin Fraser sends an inspiring message to South Africans back home…
SA expat and comedian Kevin Fraser, who is usually based in Australia but is currently in Portugal, has shared a motivational video message with South Africans back home.
Posting on Thursday afternoon (10 Aug), whilst walking along the Lisbon coastline, Kevin says: “There’s been so much hectic news lately in South Africa. I just feel for my country right now. Here I am enjoying electricity overseas, and spending time with my family (his mom even popped into his Zurich concert!), and whilst we all deserve that, it just made me think because my heart just gets pulled. You know even if it’s just one message, one little bit of hope there, I’ll leave you with one thing: We are built to last, okay? And in order to see the light, we must weather the storm…”

Thank you for the motivation, enjoy the sunshine and beach.”
And another SA expat – who lives in Lisbon – said that while Portugal’s great, nothing’s as good as back home and she can’t wait for his show tomorrow – “Need some SA enthusiasm and people to share a magical evening with!”
