While many of us are accustomed to celebrating Halloween the weekend before or after the actual date (31 October), there are still a handful of cool events that happen during the week of Halloween.
If you missed out over the weekend, here are five great events happening this week in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban:

What: Mojo Market will once again host their rocking annual Halloween Party. Entry is free to all, and kids are welcome too! There will be food stalls galore as well as prizes for best dressed and live music to dance the night away to.

SHADOW REALM SHORT FILM COLLECTION AT LABIA THEATRE
What: The Cinema Edition of the Shadow Realm short film collection will be on this Halloween at the Labia Theatre and you can catch 10 or more hours of amazing short films from around the world which covers all Horror sub-genres, subjects and styles.

“MURDER AT THE MIDNIGHT MIC” – A MURDER MYSTERY
What: Are you ready to catch the killer? Karaoke Kong will be hosting a fun murder mystery event where you can immerse yourself in a world of intrigue and suspense as you work together to uncover the killer among the karaoke bar patrons. Help solve the mystery and then take to the mic and sing til you drop!

MYSTERY GHOST TOUR JOHANNESBURG
