The Ndlovu Youth Choir, who have made South Africans and Africans so proud on the world’s largest stage – America’s Got Talent – ended their AGT journey last night on a high, although they weren’t placed in the top five.
The Choir, who have single-handedly lifted South African spirits during a tough period in the country, said: “Our AGT journey may have come to an end but this is only the beginning. We are so excited for what lies ahead and we look forward to continue sharing love, unity and above all hope. ????❤️?? #agt”
Of their last special performance on stage (watch below), they said: “Hanging out with one of the worlds biggest DJ’s.??? Kygo you are inspiring and it was incredible performing with you. #agt ??????”
South African expat Belinda Peck, who was watching the show live, told SAPeople: “With a sad heart Ndlovo Youth Choir did not make the top five finalists and are out. ?
“Even though they did not win, they are still winners and I wish them all of the very best for their future. They sure made us all and South Africa so proud. Keep going and shine as you are all superstars! ????”

SA’s Dept of International Relations and Cooperation said: “Ndlovu Youth Choir thank you for flying the South African flag very high. You have made the country proud.”
