‘Vey fitting’: Twitter users agreed that Dr Nandipha’s father should be played by Vusi Thanda in the Netflix documentary that they want.

Twitter users came in numbers and agreed wholeheartedly with a social user that took to Twitter on Monday, 17 April, and said that in the unconfirmed and highly anticipated documentary about Mzansi’s “Bonnie and Clyde”, Dr Nandipha Mgudumana and Thabo Bester, Dr Nandipha’s father, Zolile Sekeleni should be played by iconic South African actor Vusi Thanda.

According to News24, on Monday, Sekeleni was granted bail of R10 000 by the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court.
Sekeleni and two other men, former G4S employee Senohe Matsoara, and camera installer Teboho Lipholo were accused of having helped notorious rapist and murderer Thabo Bester escape from maximum-security prison Mangaung Correctional Centre in May 2022.
Taking to their timelines, the online user wrote,
“As far as I am concerned, Vusi Thanda can play Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s father in the anticipated Netflix’s Thabo Bester prison break documentary.”
Tweeps responding to the Tweet have voiced that the elderly men share an uncanny resemblance with one another.

Some also added that the iconic actor would also benefit greatly from the casting due to his financial problems.
In September 2022, Thanda made headlines when he broke down in a video that had done the rounds online where he was seen begging fans to deposit what they could afford into his Capitec bank account.
The actor was said to have been not been financially stable for a while.
