Trevor Noah surprised a South African audience in Pretoria by popping up on stage to introduce Kevin Hart during the American comedian’s tour of SA. And everybody – including the newly named ‘Mpho’ Hart – will remember it forever.
Kevin (aka Mpho, Lil Swag or Hustle Hart, according to him) tweeted:
« Last night’s show in Pretoria was one for the record books…. My brother Trevor Noah surprised the audience with a pop up and got one of the biggest applauses that I have ever witnessed, I can’t thank you all enough…. Mpho Hart loves South Africa ….Until next time guys!!!!!! »
Trevor, who recently quit The Daily Show in the USA, echoed his sentiments:
« Few nights in my life will live in my memory like the night I had the pleasure and honour of introducing my friend, my fellow comedian and absolute super star, Kevin Hart on stage in my home country South Africa. »
The proudly South African comedian added: « The crowd was electric, Kevin killed it, and we spent the night celebrating with his tequila. (Which is actually really smooth and delicious. Not an ad, Kevin didn’t want to pay me ?) »
One audience member, ‘Lindie van wat wat’ said: « I laughed to a point where it felt like I’d done serious ab workout, my tummy was so sore.
@Trevornoah appearing to intro (Kevin Hart) was the cherry on top, master stroke. Can’t wait to see (Hart) later on this year. Thank you Mpho Hart, you are indeed a gift!! »
