Upgrades to insulin pumps like the long sought after artificial pancreas system are slow to reach the market so some tech-savvy patients are finding new ways to manage their diabetes. In December 2017 two young women were kidnapped, tortured, raped and killed in Mooinooi in the North West. The police arrested their neighbour and his accomplices and charged them with the crimes. Now exclusive footage obtained by Carte Blanche, reveals how the man accused of the brutal murders attempted to hire a hitman to kill state witnesses, from inside prison.
