LOYISO BALA: ‘REAL LIFE IS LIKE A JOURNEY WITHOUT A SCRIPT’
The father of three Loyiso Bala, who’s been part of his family’s reality TV show The Bala Family from the beginning adds they are portraying a curated version of reality.
“Real life is like a journey without a script. But while in front of the camera, we portray a curated version of reality.”
“It hasn’t been easy to be part of this show, but amid the challenges, I’ve strived to be as authentic as possible, letting the rawness shine through the crafted façade.”
The singer took to his socials timeline on Wednesday, sharing behind the scenes footage of filming, speaking of the effort he takes to remain authentic while documenting his life.
TshisaLIVE reports that The Bala Family reality TV show has topped Twitter trends every time the TV show airs on Mzansi Magic from the family’s therapy sessions to personal affairs about previous relationships.

BACKGROUND OF ‘THE BALA FAMILY’ REALITY TV SHOW
Sunday World reports that popular reality TV show The Bala family consists of siblings Pinky, Zwai, Loyiso, and Phelo Bala
The Bala brothers, who are best known for their music attempt to bury their differences and rebuild relationships on the show.
The oldest brother Zwai Bala, who inspired his brothers Loyiso and Phelo to pursue their own successful music careers was part of Kwaito group TKZee.
Their mother Veronica wishes their fans will help connect their disjointed lives, rekindle their love for each other, and create a sense of belonging and safety.
Shirly Adonisi the Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net told the publication:
“We expect The Bala Family to take centre stage as we bring viewers up close and personal and to know a side that they never knew about their favourite personalities. The Bala Family story is a powerful reminder of how families can come together to overcome obstacles and create something meaningful. Viewers will be taken on a journey of how this family seeks to build their own legacy in a way that will resonate with South Africans,” said Adonisi.
