‘Generations: The Legacy’: More actors leave the soapie
Four beloved actors who are well-known for starring in ‘Generations: The legacy’ are reportedly leaving the local production.
Four actors including Buntu Petse, Karabo Maseko, Zizipho Buti, and Rebaon Kgosimore were recently announced to be leaving Generations: The Legacy, Kaya FM reported.

‘GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY’ ACTORS DEPARTING THE SHOW
Buntu Petse who stars in the telenovela as Nontle; Karabo Maseko who plays the role of Luyolo; Zizipho Buti who stars as Tracy; and Rebaon Kgosimore who plays the role of Paul Moroka Jnr were officially announced to be departing from the well-known South African production.
According to a statement seen by the publication, the actors’ departure is a “bitter-sweet” one when considering their contribution to the show. The statement was quoted as reading: “Through their stellar performances, these actors have contributed to the rich history of the show, and as such, their departure marks a bittersweet moment.”

“These actors have consistently portrayed their talent, dedication, and versatility, captivating viewers and earning them a special place in the hearts of fans. We will miss them and wish them all the best in their future endeavours,” the statement reportedly continued.
The actors’ departure also come after actor Musa Ngema, who portrayed the character of Mazwi Moroka left Generations: The Legacy actor earlier this year.

ZIZIPHO BUTI ON JOINING THE CAST
In 2020, speaking about her casting in the show, SowetanLIVE quoted Zizipho Buti as saying, “It’s been such a pleasure getting to know Tracy and telling her story. She has definitely shifted my mindset. Let me tell you. The first time my agent called me to tell me this is the role they want me to play I went quiet on him. I judged her and her story. But now I’m so glad I said yes.”
