Zimoja reports that former Generations: The Legacy actor Musa Ngema, who played Mazwi Moroka has landed a role on SABC1’s educational soapie Skeem Saam.

IS MUSA NGEMA JOINING ‘SKEEM SAAM’?
Sources from educational soapie informed the outlet that the former Generation: The Legacy star Musa Ngema was spotted around Skeem Saam offices.
“Skeem Saam wants to surpass Generations in terms of popularity and numbers, lately they have been trending almost every day” adds the source.
Another source revealed the show is still negotiating contracts and money issues with Ngema: “If they agree on the terms and conditions he is definitely joining.”
However, Skeem Saam’s publicist Sumaya Mogola denied that Ngema is joining the educational soapie and said: “Who gave you the story first?” ZiMoja told her we would not reveal our sources, to which she responded,” that is not true, he is not joining us,” added Mogola.

HIS EXIT AS MAZWI MOROKA IN ‘GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY’
The former Generations: The Legacy actor Musa Ngema took to his social media accounts in April to thank production for the opportunity and fans for their support in his acting journey as Mazwi Moroka.
“What a journey! I am grateful for all the memories created and shared with the cast, crew, and, importantly, the viewers over the last few years”, tweeted Ngema.
Sunday World reports that the SABC 1 soapie Generations: The Legacy and Morula Pictures have bid farewell to Musa Ngema who played Mazwi Moroka.
The soapie confirmed his departure and said his contract came to an end in March 2023 and his character got killed last week.
“Over the years Musa has been given many story challenges that have allowed him to showcase his talent as an actor. He has done a fantastic job of portraying the character, and we are grateful for his dedication and commitment to the role and we thank him for his contribution and wish him well,” reads the statement.
