The popular song by gospel music legend Betusile Mcinga makes history once more by winning song of the year.

Betusile Mcinga once again won an award for his song Ngena Noah which went viral. The song initially won the Song of the Year title from Umhlobo Wenene FM in January.

THE TALENTED BETUSILE MCINGA HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY
Betusile Mcinga began his music career from the early age of 14 years, when he was singing in the church. He later joined his gospel icon mother’s group Lusanda Mcinga’s Spiritual Group as a keyboard player and went on to later join the backing vocalists.
In 2008 he began his own music career where he released five albums to date. In 2014 Mcinga won the Crown Gospel Award for his third album in the best newcomer category for the song Zundithwale which also went viral and was most loved!

‘TO GOD BE THE GLORY’
The gospel gem was nominated amongst big artists like AKA and KO at the SAMA awards for the song of the year and unexpectedly won.
SAMA awards are known to be the biggest awards that cater for the most known and listened to music in South Africa. Seeing a gospel singer win was an absolute shocker for many as many people claimed to not know the song until the day of the announcement.
In his interview with the Touchdown, Mcinga said it was “all God”, in his acceptance statement he said, “to God be the Glory”.

“The interview we did here in January was a prophecy of the rain of blessings that were coming in my life,” Mcinga said as he expressed his gratitude to Tbo Touch for affording him the opportunity to come to his show.
Tbo Touch said after seeing Noah in the song of the year announcement envelope he quickly told the minister that they have a crisis as they are about to make the biggest announcement in the history of music!
