After shocking figures were released earlier this week on the number of non-roadworthy vehicles being used in South Africa – the City of Joburg tweeted this video, saying: “Always ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy. Don’t be this guy.”

According to Transport Minister Dipuo Peters, during this festive season “about 6,805 un-roadworthy vehicles were suspended or discontinued while 2,501 other motor vehicles were impounded.”
