Mugabe has been accused of slowly starving millions of people in his country by causing one of the worst famines in Africa, and driving millions of Zimbabweans out of his country.
The Citizen yesterday estimated Mugabe’s wealth at a minimum of R1.3-billion. The newspaper alleges his assets include: a R56-million mansion in Hong Kong, R138-million mansion in Zimbabwe, R660-million Hamilton Palace in England, a 15,000 hectare farm emire, a R16-million Mercedes Benz S600L, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Co., an R18-million ring and more.
