This incredible CCTV footage from South Africa shows an armed robber being robbed himself by a customer he held, up after the customer did a cheeky SAS style crawl to hoover up stolen loot the original robber had dropped in the raid.
The brazen robber had pulled out a gun and ordered a shop owner to put the cash tray on the counter, and shouted at the shoppers in the store to lay down on their stomachs.

As the gunman aims his weapon at the shopkeeper with his right hand he gathers up cash in his left and scoops it into a satchel on his hip but some of the bank notes fall to the floor.
To the shock of security chiefs who later reviewed the CCTV, they see a customer risk his life to commando crawl from the rear of the shop to right behind the unsuspecting gunmen.
They wonder if it is a wannabe-hero who is going to leap up and surprise and overpower the gunman.
But instead the customer robs the robber (!) as he starts grabbing the dropped bank notes from around the gunman’s legs before slithering under the turnstile and out the shop front door!
The jaw-dropping footage has gone viral in South Africa with thousands of hits on social media with @LusaphoLuu9 saying on Twitter: ”Even the robbers are not safe in this country.”
The incident happened at a Shoprite Usave supermarket in Johannesburg, and police are now not sure whether they are hunting one robber or two after seeing the CCTV.
Mzandile Nokwindla tweeted: “Jeez… that’s how bad it is. A robbery within a robbery. Hope crawler is safe with his loot at the back there!”
Marcus Robinson said on a Facebook post: “There really is no honour between thieves! How cheeky is that!!! I hope he stole enough for a large brandy to get over his shock!!!”
The Usave supermarket chain said the robbery took place on November 15 adding: “Nobody was injured and trauma counselling has been provided for those who were involved”
A South African Police Service spokesman confirmed an armed robbery was being investigated but could not confirm if the man who stole some of the robber’s loot would also face charges.
