Heartbreaking VIDEO – Lions and Tiger Fatally Poisoned at South African Park

Four animals have tragically died, after being cruelly poisoned with Temik (known as Two Step) at a predator park in South Africa.

Jugomaro Predator Sanctuary in Vaalwater, said: “Our beautiful cats have been poisoned… Elvis [a white lion], Kai [a tiger], Taariq, Hercules. We are beyond heartbroken. Feels like our lives have just been broken into a million pieces….. not one Vet available to help us ???R.I.P. ?????????????????????”

In an updated message an hour ago, the Sanctuary said: “Our beautiful boys, Kai, Elvis, Hercules and Taariq suffered a very painful death, we were able to be with them till their last breath, they bit onto the fences in pain ?? The poison used is deadly, Justin [Vernandes] gave Elvis mouth to mouth, I tried to CPR , we tried so hard to save them… my cats were murdered for nothing!!

“Thankfully they were not mutilated as we disturbed the assholes!!! Please pray we find these murderers. RIP MY BABIES, You gave us so much joy, so much to live for… love you always, till we meet again.”

Just last month, Justin Vernandes excitedly shared a video of new premises in Vaalwater, as they prepared to welcome visitors.

This morning a heartbroken Justin said it has been the worst nightmare of his life. In a live video on social media, he tearfully explained how they heard barking and found Elvis at 02h00 last night, biting hard onto a gate because he was in such pain.

Justin said Kai was already dead, and while he tried CPR on Elvis, he could hear Hercules throwing up.

Sadly, they couldn’t get a vet to the distressed animals in time, to get the medication necessary to save the cats.

In the video below Justin visits his beloved dead cats, and shows viewers the rabbit meat, laced with Two Step, that was used to kill them.

As he strokes Hercules, Justin sadly says: “Sleep well my boy.”
