Goanna, Goanna, Gone…

If you think you’re having a bad week – take a look at this goanna (similar but different to a South African leguan/legewaan), getting chowed alive by a snake in Australia (at the Pilbara Mine Site in Queensland to be exact).

These photos were taken earlier this week. The snake took five hours to finish off the goanna. The local crew at Cloudbreak put up some signage so it couldn’t be run over.
