Celebrities Read Mean Tweets…about themselves!

Ever wondered if celebrities see some of the mean stuff people write about them? Watch this. It’s brilliant!

American TV show host Jimmy Kimmel posted this on YouTube, saying “some people are cruel and write very harsh things to celebrities on Twitter. What you don’t see when you send a nasty tweet is that it can cause pain. So to raise awareness, and hopefully make people think twice before they post something awful, we’ve once again assembled a group of famous faces to remind everyone that words hurt.”

Celebrities in the video include Cate Blanchett, George Clooney and Jennifer Garner.

The video ends with one of the meanest tweets to Matt Damon…tweeted by none other than Jimmy Kimmel. (Obviously that one wasn’t real!)

The American comedian is due to take over the Tonight Show on February 17. Jay Leno presented his final show last week.
