Lunar event fans can look forward to seeing full moon rising tomorrow, 25 January, 2024.

January’s full moon is one of the most searched topics for the month. Everyone loves to see the year begin on a good note – and lighting up the sky is always something to look forward to.

Even though many ancient beliefs about the moon have faded, it’s still beautiful to look up and see a full lunar event.

January’s lunar event is called the Wolf Moon. It’s associated with heightened wolf activity, usually in the Northern Hemisphere – although the name has stuck, and that’s what we call it.

The next lunar event for February is happening on February 24, 2024.

During the month of love, this also gives us what’s called a leap year. February gets an extra day during this month – and it only takes place once every four years.

February’s lunar event is extra special!

MARCH’S MOON DATE

The next moon after this will be happening on 25 March, 2024.

It’s called the Worm Moon, which some people believe is linked to the seasonal changes. Birds are usually feasting on many things during March – and for some reason, the March lunar event ended up with this name above all other choices.
