Zizi Kodwa angers SA with France RWC trip
Minister Zizi Kodwa has arrived in France. His trp has been called ‘another wasteful expenditure’ by local social media users.
South Africans across the country have made their way to France to watch the Springboks face off against England in the Rugby World Cup semifinals. One of those people is Minister of Sports and Arts and Culture, Zizi Kodwa. Taking to X, the minister shared photos and videos of his airport welcome after touching down on Friday afternoon.
While Mama Joy and a few other people welcomed him with overflowing excitement, those here in South Africa have frowned upon the trip and are referring to it as “wasteful expenditure”.

For the last month or so, South Africans have united to support the national rugby team as they participate in the Rugby World Cup which is taking place in France this year.
These weeks have not gone without drama as social media users discuss all the money that has gone in to sending sports fanatic Mama Joy all the way there to support the team on the expense of taxpayers.
Minister Zizi Kodwa in particular has faced backlash for what many are calling the mishandling of state funds.
