Actor and singer Will Smith has surprised the world by showing up to Jada Pinkett Smith’s book release unannounced. According to reports, his appearance at her ‘Worthy’ release in Baltimore comes after they have talked about their support for each other – and unpacked the infamous Academy Awards event that made headlines in March this year.

WILL SMITH SHOWS UP AT JADA’S BOOK RELEASE
According to Today.com, Will Smith has shown up at Jada Pinkett Smith’s ‘Worthy’ book release.
The appearance from the Prince of Bel-Air star comes to show his support for her. At the event, he reportedly said, “Can you love somebody no matter what?”

The pair was shown embracing one another for photographs, as Jada’s autobiography was released for October.
‘Worthy’ was released at Enoch Pratt Library in Baltimore, Maryland. Fans of Jada will already know that this is where she grew up, which makes up a huge part of the book.

Will and Jada got married in December 1997.

Will’s appearance at the book release comes as a surprise after the explosive Academy Awards event that most people haven’t forgotten yet. In March 2023, an irritated Smith slapped Chris Rock during his speech – a move which has now been explained partially by both Smith and Jada.

According to new reports, tensions were running high after Rock had reportedly asked Pinkett Smith out on a date.
The NY Times reported that Jada said she was surprised to hear herself referred to as Smith’s “wife” at the time.

According to Biography.com, Jada’s memoir called ‘Worthy’ has just been released internationally.
The book talks about her childhood and time in Baltimore, but also talks about her marriage to the star. If you’re wondering, the Academy Awards event is also mentioned.
