Taylor Swift effect: Airline waives change fees for postponed show
Taylor Swift’s postponed concert in Buenos Aires, has prompted a major airline to waive flight change fees for affected passengers.
American icon Taylor Swift who postponed her Buenos Aires concert from Friday to Sunday night prompted LATAM Airlines to waive fees for affected passengers.
Hurricanes, blizzards, wildfires or other major disasters may force airlines to waive change fees for passengers, but not shows or concerts.
Taylor Swift has prompted an airline to decide to waive flight ticket-change fees. Talk about the effect of stardom!

POSTPONED CONCERT
Taylor Swift was due to perform in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Friday 10 November. Due to inclement weather, she called off the concert, rescheduling it for Sunday 12 November.
Swift took to Twitter to announce that for safety reasons the concert had been postponed. “Due to the weather being so truly chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert.” She said.

LATAM AIRLINES
LATAM Airlines, the largest carrier in South America, said it would not charge penalties to passengers affected by the singing sensation’s concert postponement. This is so they can visit the city for longer.
The carrier said it would waive both ticket-change fees and differences in fares for flights until 17 November, after Swift’s show in Argentina’s capital city was postponed.
The airline said: “AttentionSwifties: we know your planes changed so starting today we are updating our flexibility policy for those with flights from Buenos Aires” for Saturday or Sunday.
