RIP: ‘Idols SA’ contestant Terra Cox dead at 35

Season 12 ‘Idols SA’ contestant, Tersius Eathon Kocks aka Terra Cox, passed away in his home on Sunday, 27 August at 35-years-old.

The entertainment fraternity has been hit by yet another tragedy, following the death of former Idols SA singer Terra Cox.

TERRA COX PASSED AWAY

Sunday World reports that the 35-year-old former Idols SA contestant, Terra Cox was found dead at his home on Sunday, 27 August.

The Citizen reveals his passing was announced by Alton Zakay Music in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tersius Eathon Kocks known as Terra Cox. We want to express our sincere condolences.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. We hope that they find peace and comfort during this difficult time of bereavement. We will share more details on how we will commemorate and celebrate the life of a great brother, artist, and friend,” the label said.

Mzansi Magic and Idols SA also paid tribute, saying they are deeply saddened by the passing of the singer.

The South African will announce details of a commemoration service to celebrate Cox’s life in the next few days.
