North West announces debut album
North West has already made history as the youngest artist to ever reach the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts
Kanye West (Ye) and Kim Kardashian’s eldest daughter, North West announced the release of her debut album at her dad’s listening party over the weekend, raising concerns over how young she is to be entering the realm of music.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DROPOUT
At just 10-year’s old the avid content creator already has 18.8 million followers on TikTok, and the title of her first album has raised some concern.
North took to the stage at her rapper dad’s listening party for his upcoming album release, Vultures 2 in Arizona to announce that the album she’s been working on will be coming soon.
“Hi, it’s Northy and I’ve been working on an album and it’s called Elementary School Dropout.”
North’s album title is a reference to Ye’s 2004 debut album The College Dropout, which launched his hip hop career.

NORTH WEST COULD LEVERAGE HUGE FOLLOWING ON TIKTOK FOR A BIG PAY CHEQUE
With her huge following, North West could potentially earn an estimated $30 000 per TikTok video.
This is according to data from social media marketing experts at Viralyft.com who say North gained 700 000 new followers on the entertainment app between February to March 2024.
Her increasing following rate could mean an earning potential of up to $30 134.75 per video on TikTok.
North’s TikTok account is a joint account with her mom, Kim and is being managed by an adult.
Since the video clip of North West went viral on social media, there have been a number of comments expressing concern at the title of her album, with some hoping the celebrity child did not actually drop out of school.
However, Ye fans who understood the reference to his body of work were looking forward to hearing his daughter sample his tracks.
While Ye is in full support of North being his little prodigy, Kim hasn’t responded to her daughter’s interest in venturing down a rap music career.
