Minnie Dlamini is set to take the hot seat in her upcoming TV roast on Showmax in April. And nothing is off limits for the media personality, including her alleged link to billionaire businessman Edwin Sodi.

The ANC-affiliated “tenderpreneur” is known for allegations of both his controversial business deals and his long “hit list” of beautiful women.

Just days after hosting his 50th birthday at his R85 million Bryanston mansion last year, Sodi was linked to a R250 million tender probe ordered by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Earlier this year, Sodi – who has been previously arrested on charges of corruption, fraud, and money laundering – was slapped with a R400 million tax bill.

EDWIN SODI AND MINNIE DLAMINI?

Just months after Minnie Dlamini announced her split from husband Quinton Jones, she became the topic of rumours linking her to Edwin Sodi. This, after she posted pictures of her reportedly using his private jet for a luxury holiday trip.

According to celebrity blogger Musa Khawula, Sodi was allegedly the reason for Minnie and Quinton’s split.

However, the businessman clapped back at the allegations, telling Sunday World: “Stop spreading the lies about me. I’ve never dated Minnie”.

In a social media statement, Minnie also denied the “false, damaging, and malicious” claims.

Apart from Minnie Dlamini, Edwin Sodi is allegedly a babe magnet for some of the most beautiful female celebrities in South Africa.

  • Mihlali Ndamase

  • Kat Ncala
  • Karen Zulu and more

According to previous claims made by celebrity gossip blogger Musa Khawula, Edwin Sodi also has a history of “snatching” “women from their partners.

They allegedly include:

  • Minnie Dlamini from now ex-husband Quinton Jones.
  • Onalerona Thekiso, who, according to allegations made by then-husband Proverb in 2015, cheated on him with Edwin Sodi
  • DJ Sbu’s ex-wife Disebo Makatsa, who, according to a Sunday World report, had an illicit affair with Sodi.
  • According to another Sunday World report, Edwin Sodi allegedly impregnated Matsatsi Rampa, whilst she was still dating rapper Jub Jub.
  • Sebabatso Mothibi, who has a baby with sports presenter Andile Ncube

According to Sodi, he has six children with different mothers; one of them includes a “top radio DJ”, reports Sunday World.

Sunday World reported in February 2022 that Edwin Sodi was keen to put a ring on Karen’s finger. “Oh yes! I am happy”, he reportedly told the publication of their romance.
