Melissa Nayimuli is a South African model and TV & Film creative producer. She was among the top 5 in the 2023 Miss SA pageant. Additionally, she was in Miss SA 2020.

Melissa Nayimuli’s interest in modelling started when she was just a kid. Her mother dressed her up for many children’s pageants and through her parent’s support, she has made it to become one of the most prominent models in SA.

AGE AND BACKGROUND

The popular model was born on 2 January 1996. As of publication, she is 27 years and her star sign is Capricorn. Ethnically, Melissa Nayimuli is half Xhosa from her mother’s side and half Ugandan from her dad’s side.

EDUCATION

Nayimuli attended The Glen High School where she matriculated in 2013. Later, she attended AFDA, The South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture Medium: Television Production in March 2017.

CAREER

The modelling star first auditioned for Miss SA in 2016 but was unsuccessful. Four years later in 2020, she joined the competition where she was among those to reach the semi-finals. Additionally, Nayimuli was part of the 2023 reality TV show Crown Chasers based on Miss SA, where she finished among the top 5. Furthermore, the 27-year-old model has worked in media for over six years. In 2017, she was the Junior production coordinator for The Voice Nigeria and Post Production Coordinator for The Voice Afrique Francophone. The following year, she worked as the Production Manager at The Fanta Squad.

Moreover, in August 2018, she joined Levergy as the Account Manager up to February 2021. Later, she freelanced for three months at Hipster Media and is currently the Creative Producer at Blackbrain Pictures.
